Whether you are a hunter in need of animal sounds to draw in your target, a hiker who wants to mark trails, or maybe someone who needs to diminish predators on the property. HuntBox is designed to meet all of these needs plus many more.
We originally created this app for the avid hunter, more specifically, the avid deer hunter. It is designed to benefit any hunter interested in keeping good records or interested in Quality Deer Management. You can log and score all the deer killed on your property or lease here. There are step-by-step instructions to get the most accurate antler score available on the market today. You can map all the trails and stands on your hunting property for navigating the land easier. You can also find every states hunting laws and regulations! There are 30 different calls for all types of hunting, and counting. Each of them tell you exactly when and how to use them. With the click of a button you can do anything from a simple Doe Bleat to an aggressive Snort and Wheeze! Some of the animal calls are:

Note: The trail mapper will continue to run in the background if you have started to map a trail. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Very helpfull
This app is pretty awesome so far. I love the calculator, the gps is surprisingly accurate and its nice to be able to map a trail, when I am tacking after a "harvest". (I dont always remember how to get back.) also the calls are kinda fun to But the reason Im giving this app a 3 is for two reasons... the gps locator always stays on unless u go into the phones settings and turn it off. I understand that certain circumstances may need this to continue but It should be easer to turn off if Its no longer needed and the hunting diary should be in its own tab where u can add your deers score not vice versa. Fix these two things and it might just be the best hunters app available.
I bought the APP because of the overall rating and the Developers Description. Buy it for the calculator and the link into the Fish n Wildlife State sites for state regulation info at a click. The calculator is the best part of the software, period. To say it is the most accurate one on the market today needs to just go to boone-crockett.org and see it isnt. It may be the best one as an iPhone APP but thats it. It was good for getting a "Rough", "Quick" score easily. I did a 154 3/4" "Green Score" in my garage with some hunting buddies the night I harvested my Buck this year. It took about 15 minutes with a buddy that already knew where to measure. There are some graphics but no written detailed description as to where the string should be placed. Directions are not as easy as led to believe in APPs description if you are not at least basically familiar with the scoring method. It should have at least recommended using string because a metal tape isnt flexible enough to squeeze out every inch. By the way developer, this is called the "Boone & Crokett" scoring method. The phones GPS needs to be tied into app better as previous reviewer stated also. **Calls** Whitetail calls are ok, some sound a lot like those in other APPs, probably animal sound "ClipSounds"! Using more than one call in sequence is way to much work. Should have put the play, play loop & play controls on same page as the call titles. Way to many back and forth movements to switch up calls. Designer/programmer may deer hunt some but to consider one call each for two different predators, & theyre the predator itself and that one call each it isnt even a breeding call. No small game distress calls either and that to me defeats the purpose of predator calls for attracting predators and that is one sick and angry Bob Cat. APP is not a $2 APP. Navigation attributes plague the APP. ***This APP is not the answer to what we all want in an all in one hunting APP but neither are any of the others that claim to be either. It cam only get better with time. ***This one is a scrapbook with "Deer", "Boone & Crockett" scoring directions and calculator with some non-typical considerations included. Most are animal Sounds not Calls. If developer put pictures of all the pages in the APP on the description page I dont think I would have bought it!!! At lest one thing was accurate in the description... "Its mostly for Deer Hunters"
Just called in a 6er today with the baby alligator call, didnt even use an external speaker. App works great. And I cant wait for the flash light feature to be released!!
This is the only hunting app I actually use! I love the trail app! It helped me map out my hunting lease it also shows rules for your specific state! Love it!! Nothings better !!!!!
